Your questions, answered straight.
Weren't incline sleepers banned?
Yes — products like the Fisher-Price Rock 'n Play were recalled because of soft surfaces and no containment. Babies slid down, chin to chest, blocking the airway. The danger was never the angle — it was uncontrolled movement on a soft surface. The Lullé Nest uses a firm foam and a pelvic harness that eliminates that sliding entirely.
What age is this for?
Birth to 6 months. This is when the oesophageal valve is still developing and reflux is most common. Most babies grow out of it between 4–6 months as the valve matures.
Can i use it alongside reflux medication?
Yes. Medication works on the chemistry of acid. Positioning works on the mechanics of where the fluid goes. They address different aspects of the same problem. Always discuss with your GP or Plunket nurse.
How do i clean it?
The cover is removable and machine washable. The foam core should not be soaked. Given that reflux babies posset frequently, we recommend having a spare cover on hand for middle-of-the-night changes.
